Why you are not eligible for our programs

To be eligible for our programs you need to have a visa allowing that work.

Our jobs are part-time, short-term, level-entry positions. For these jobs there are only 5 kinds of visas that allow you to do this:

  • Working Holiday Visa
  • Child of a Japanese National Visa
  • Japanese Passport Holder
  • Permanent Residency Holder
  • Spousal visa

Working Holiday Visa
This visa is only available to people from a select few countries and who are aged 18-30 years old. This is what 99% of applicants use to join us in Japan.

Unfortunately, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, USA, & China DO NOT have a Working Holiday Visa agreement with Japan.

If you are from these countries it is not possible to get a Working Holiday Visa. You can only join us if you have one of the following…

Child of a Japanese National Visa
Your mother or Father need to be Japanese.

Japanese Passport Holder
You need to have a Japanese passport already.

Permanent Residency Holder
You need to have Japanese PR already – and you need to live in Japan for 10+ years to get that.

Spousal Visa
You need to have a Japanese husband or wife.

Why we can not sponsor a normal Working Visa

We only offer part-time, short-term seasonal jobs.

It is not possible to do those jobs on a regular Working Visa, so it is not possible to get a sponsored Working Visa for our jobs.

If your local Japanese embassy tell you that you can go to Japan if you have a job arranged first – that does not apply to our jobs. Our jobs are seasonal and part-time. They do not meet the requirements for visa sponsorship.

Conclusion

We are sorry we can not help you. Your country and Japan do not have a Working Holiday Visa agreement and it is not possible to get a Working Visa sponsored for our jobs.

Hopefully your country and Japan will get a Working Holiday Visa agreement soon.

So how can I get to Japan?

We don’t have any contacts for full-time positions. We recommend contacting your local Japanese embassy and asking them for ideas and opportunities that will allow you to get to Japan.

We wish you all the best and hope you get to Japan one day!
